Flood Advisory issued December 26 at 3:07PM CST until December 26 at 7:00PM CST by NWS Shreveport LA

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of northwest Louisiana, including the following parish, southwestern Caddo and northeast Texas, including the following counties, northwestern Angelina, eastern Cherokee, Harrison, Nacogdoches, Panola, Rusk, northwestern San Augustine and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 700 PM CST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 305 PM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen since late morning. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches, with isolated higher amounts, are expected over the area. Given that the ground is already saturated in wake of heavy rain that fell on Christmas Eve, this additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... * WHEN...From Friday afternoon until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Expect flooded paths and secondary roadways. Move livestock and equipment to higher ground.

At 324 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Toledo Bend Dam, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Toledo Bend Dam, Hornbeck, and Anacoco.
