San Miguel Park – SRA LA Site #7

Nestled on a cove just off an arm of Toledo Bend Lake, San Miguel will enchant you. This is a lovely, rolling, wooded area with paved roads throughout.
Colloquially referred to as “Sammy Gill”, San Miguel is 108 acres of rolling land, 1.5 miles of shoreline, and is beautiful! They offer tent camping, RV hookups (overnight or by the month), and fully furnished A-frame and conventional cabins. There are swimming and playground areas and lots of places for an enjoyable picnic. In addition to a paved boat launch, they also have covered boat stalls.
The tent pads have a water front view and nearby bath house. Two large pavilions are located at San Miguel Park. One is enclosed with air conditioning and heat. The open pavilion is spacious for all sorts of group gatherings and is located on the water front near the boat launch. The Park also has 2 picnic pavilions.

Directions:
From La 6 and La 191(Toledo Town): Take La 191 North 3.4 miles to La 1215. Turn left; go 3.6 miles to crossroad (Shell station). Turn right onto Carters Ferry Rd; go 2.5 miles to San Miguel Rd. Turn left onto San Miguel Rd.; go 0.3 miles to entrance; sign says “Sammy Gill Park” Site 7A.
From Zwolle, La.: Take La 475 out of town to junction with La 191. Turn left (South) onto La 191; go 3 miles to Carters Ferry Rd. Turn right onto Carters Ferry Rd; go 0.3 miles to park entrance.
