The park has a boat ramp, picnic tables, playground equipment, and restrooms.
Directions:
- From Joaquin – the junction of Texas 7 and Texas FM 139 go South on Tx FM 139 for 4.7 miles to junction Texas FM 2572. Turn East on Tx FM 2572 and go 1.7 miles to end of road. Road ends at Rec Area.
- From Shelbyville – the junction of Texas 87 and Texas FM 417 go East on Tx FM 417 for 11.4 miles to junction Tx FM 417 / Tx FM 139. Turn North (left) onto Tx FM 139 and go 8.3 miles to junction Texas FM 2572. Turn East on Tx FM 2572 and go 1.7 miles to end of road. Road ends at Rec Area.
