Big Cat on Rod & Reel    160216001
Frank Dutton of Many, LAÂ Â Â February 12, 2016
AREA: Cove off of Lanana Bay   BAIT: Minnows
I was fishing off my floating boat house about 15 feet away on the bottom – about 10 feet deep with the lake this high. Fortunately, the pole was in a sturdy pole holder and suddenly the line began to peel out against the drag. I picked up the pole and started a fight that must have lasted about 15 minutes. As I’d work the fish in a bit, it would head back out and pull line off against the drag – it kept going that way, back and forth. Thankfully, I had a net handy to get this monster out of the water. Blue catfish – 41 inches – 42 pounds. What a great experience to catch a fish like this on 17# test line and rod and reel!

Big fish!    121026001
Doris of Milam, TXÂ Â Â June 15, 2012
AREA: mid-lake   BAIT: worm
My biggest bass yet on T-Bend! 10 lbs. 6 oz.! Caught off deep water ridge using watermelon red worm. At first I had no control until tightening the drag a little on my reel, then the fight was on! If you are lucky enough to live on the lake, you are lucky enough!
